The project involved the delivery of a complete SCADA and control system package, covering detailed system design, engineering, supply, installation, commissioning, and comprehensive operator training for the entire project scope. The implemented automation solution was designed to ensure reliable, efficient, and continuous operation of the new pumping station.
Scope of work included the supply and configuration of a hot-standby PLC station to provide system redundancy and high availability. The project also included the implementation of dedicated operator and engineering stations, enabling real-time monitoring, process control, diagnostics, system configuration, and long-term optimization of pumping station operations.
Sultanate Of Oman Ministry Of Housing Electricity And Water . Central Desalination Plant At Sur And Water Supply Schemes to Al Sharqia Region
Complete SCADA, Control, Communication and Instrumentation package includes design, supply, installation, commissioning, and training for the complete scope.
Scope of Works includes:
- 2 main SCADA Centres.
- 6 main pumping stations with hot-standby RTU’s.
- 22 pumping / filling station with RTU’s.
- Installation and termination of Single mode-12 cores fiber Optic cables.
- Over 330 Km with 1Gbit/sec redundant network.
GlobalPharma – Pumping Station Automation Project, Dubai Investment Park
The project involved the delivery of a complete SCADA and control system package, covering detailed system design, engineering, supply, installation, commissioning, and comprehensive operator training for the entire project scope. The implemented automation solution was designed to ensure high reliability, operational efficiency, and uninterrupted pumping station performance.
Scope of work included the supply and integration of fully redundant PLC stations across three pumping stations to ensure system availability and fault tolerance. Each pumping station was equipped with redundant operator stations for real-time monitoring and control, along with a dedicated engineering station to support system configuration, diagnostics, maintenance, and long-term system optimization.
Etisalat – Integrated BMS & IBMS Automation Project
This project involved the integration of all Building Management System (BMS) and control subsystems into a single, centralized Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) based on Siemens PCS7 DCS. The solution was implemented on a unified platform to enable seamless monitoring, control, and coordination of multiple building systems through one interface.
The integrated IBMS platform included the following core subsystems:
• HVAC systems
• Chillers
• Electrical systems, including medium voltage substations
• Lighting control systems
• Water supply and irrigation systems
The IBMS system was further interfaced with critical safety and support subsystems, including:
• Fire alarm system
• Elevators (lifts)
• Security and access control systems
This comprehensive integration improved operational efficiency, enhanced safety, optimized energy management, and ensured reliable coordination between all building automation and control systems.
Dubai Properties – Water Infrastructure Maintenance & Control Project
This project involved the maintenance of JBR water towers and associated facilities within the Marina area, including all annexed works. The primary objective of the project was to ensure the reliable operation and long-term performance of fresh and sweet water supply infrastructure.
The scope of maintenance covered water storage systems, distribution networks, instrumentation, and control systems. Regular inspection, servicing, and performance checks were carried out to maintain operational efficiency, ensure uninterrupted water supply, and support safe and dependable utility operations across the site.
Associa MENA – HVAC Controls & Utility Monitoring Project
This project involved the supply, installation supervision, and commissioning of HVAC control systems, including 792 Fan Coil Unit (FCU) controllers and five conventional controllers. The implemented solution was designed to deliver precise and efficient climate control across the towers, ensuring occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and reliable HVAC system performance.

The scope also included the implementation of an electrical utility monitoring and control system across three different locations, enabling centralized supervision and improved operational visibility.
Additionally, the project covered the supply, installation, and commissioning of three remote monitoring and control systems with integrated communication networks at the respective locations. These systems were connected to a single central monitoring platform, allowing real-time data acquisition, control, diagnostics, and efficient management of electrical utility operations.
Schneider Electric – Building Management System (BMS) Automation Project
This project involved the supply, installation supervision, and commissioning of a complete Building Management System (BMS). VAV intelligent controllers were implemented to deliver precise and responsive climate control, improve energy efficiency, and enhance overall occupant comfort and visitor satisfaction.
The installed system included S600 Apogee controllers with approximately 2,000 data points, providing comprehensive monitoring and control of building operations. The solution also featured hardwired system integration to ensure reliable communication, stable performance, and seamless coordination between all connected building systems.
ACICO – Hospital BMS & Healthcare Automation Project
This project involved the supply, installation supervision, and commissioning of a complete Building Management System (BMS) for comprehensive monitoring and control of hospital facilities. The system was designed to manage critical building services including chillers, boilers, air handling units, and fan coil units, ensuring reliable and efficient operation across the healthcare environment.
A specialized application program was implemented to precisely control temperature, humidity, and air pressure within medical operation rooms, supporting strict healthcare standards and patient safety requirements. The installed solution included S600 Apogee controllers with approximately 4,000 data points, along with hardwired system integration to ensure stable performance, accurate data acquisition, and seamless coordination between all hospital building systems.
International City – Library Facility BMS & Building Automation Project
This project involved the supply, installation supervision, and commissioning of a complete Building Management System (BMS) for comprehensive monitoring and control of library facilities. The implemented system was designed to ensure efficient operation, energy management, and a comfortable indoor environment suitable for public and knowledge-based spaces.
The BMS solution provided centralized monitoring and control of critical building services, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, and LON intelligent fan coil units. The system was implemented using S600 Apogee controllers with approximately 1,100 data points, delivering reliable performance, accurate data acquisition, and precise control.
Hardwired system integration was incorporated to ensure stable communication, seamless coordination between all building subsystems, and long-term operational reliability.
One&Only Royal Mirage – Luxury Hotel BMS & Building Automation Project
This project involved the supply, installation supervision, and commissioning of a complete Building Management System (BMS) to comprehensively monitor and control hotel facilities. The implemented solution covered a wide range of areas including 160 guest rooms, 20 beach houses, two restaurants, and two conference rooms, ensuring efficient operation, energy management, and enhanced guest comfort across the property.
The BMS solution was implemented using S600 Apogee controllers with approximately 2,500 data points, providing centralized monitoring, precise control, and reliable system performance. Intelligent LON fan coil unit controllers were utilized to deliver accurate temperature control and improved energy efficiency.
In addition, the system was fully integrated with other critical control systems such as the fire alarm system, fire fighting system, and submersible pump system. This seamless hardware integration ensured coordinated operation, improved safety, and reliable overall building performance.

This project involved the supply, installation supervision, and commissioning of a complete Building Management System (BMS) for comprehensive monitoring and control of medical clinic facilities. The implemented solution was designed to ensure reliable operation, energy efficiency, and compliance with healthcare environmental standards.
A specialized application program was developed to precisely control temperature, humidity, and air pressure within medical operation rooms, supporting patient safety, infection control, and optimal clinical conditions. The system was implemented using S600 Apogee controllers with approximately 800 data points, providing accurate monitoring, centralized control, and dependable system performance.

ABB – Instrumentation & Industrial Automation Project
Techno Matrix worked as a subcontractor for M/s Elmech Electrical Company, delivering the complete scope of instrumentation services. The project covered detailed system design, procurement of instrumentation components, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
In a separate specialized project at Dubai Airport under Emirates Engineering (1998), Techno Matrix delivered an advanced automation and instrumentation package for the Emirates Docking System. The system was designed to automate the mechanical docking process used for aircraft maintenance operations, supporting large aircraft such as Boeing 777 and Airbus A300.
The implemented solution enabled precise control, safe operation, and reliable performance of the aircraft docking system, contributing to efficient maintenance workflows and enhanced operational safety within the aviation facility.
Siemens – SCADA System Upgrade & Industrial Automation Project
This project involved the replacement of an existing Philips SCADA system with the latest Siemens SINAUT ST7 CcL SCADA platform. The system upgrade was designed to improve reliability, performance, and scalability while ensuring seamless migration from the legacy SCADA environment.
The implemented solution included the integration of 30 RTUs, a centralized master station, two fully redundant servers, and five client stations. This modern SCADA architecture provided enhanced system redundancy, real-time monitoring, improved data management, and reliable control of distributed field operations.
Nestle – Industrial Automation & Telemetry Systems Project
This project involved the supply, installation, and commissioning of two advanced telemetry systems for the real-time monitoring and control of milk silos and associated distribution lines. The implemented solution enabled accurate data acquisition, centralized supervision, and reliable control of critical production and distribution processes.
In addition, the existing electromechanical packaging system was successfully upgraded to a modern electronic automation system using the latest Siemens technologies, including SIMATIC S7 PLCs, SIWAREX weighing systems, and MMI interfaces. This upgrade significantly improved system accuracy, efficiency, and operational reliability.
The project also included the automation of two blow molding plastic machine stations using PLC S5-95U, providing precise control, improved production consistency, and enhanced overall machine performance.
Bahrain – PLC Upgrade & Industrial Automation Projects (GIIC, Hidd)
Techno Matrix successfully executed multi-phase PLC upgrade projects for Gulf Industrial Investment Company (GIIC) at Hidd, Bahrain, spanning Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III over the period 1997–1999. These projects focused on modernizing legacy control systems and enhancing overall plant automation performance.
Phase III of the PLC Upgrade Project involved the introduction of advanced closed-loop control strategies to improve process stability and operational efficiency. The scope also included further upgrading of the existing PROFIBUS communication network and the implementation of the latest Siemens SIMODRIVE variable speed drives, enabling precise motor control and improved energy efficiency.
Earlier phases of the project (Phase I and Phase II) covered the design and commissioning of a modern control and monitoring system to replace the outdated and primitive PLC infrastructure. The upgraded system was based on Siemens SIMATIC S7-400 PLCs, SINEC L2 industrial communication networks, and WinCC SCADA software, providing reliable automation, centralized monitoring, and improved system scalability.
Qatar – Water Pipeline SCADA & Utility Automation Projects
This project was executed for the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Qatar, as part of the RAFF Water Pipeline initiative, with MABANI Contracting Company acting as the main contractor during the period 1998–1999. The project focused on implementing a robust and reliable SCADA solution for large-scale water infrastructure.
The scope included the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a SCADA system for the largest water pipeline in Qatar. The system incorporated four local mini control stations strategically positioned along the pipeline to ensure effective monitoring and control of operations.
In addition, the project included the deployment of a dual redundant fiber optic communication link spanning approximately 10 km for one of the remote stations. This redundant communication architecture ensured secure data transmission, high system availability, and uninterrupted monitoring and control across the pipeline network.
Pepsi – Plant Supervisory Control & Automation Project
This project involved the implementation of an overall supervisory control and monitoring system for the plant, designed to provide centralized visibility and efficient control of plant-wide operations.
The scope of work included the design and commissioning of an automated weighing system, integrated with centralized control and monitoring architecture. In addition, remote supervisory monitoring capabilities were implemented to enable real-time data acquisition, performance analysis, and operational control, ensuring improved process efficiency, accuracy, and reliability across the plant.
Gulf Cement Company – Cement Plant Automation & Control Systems Project
This project was executed with SIEMENS France acting as the main contractor and involved the design and commissioning of advanced control and monitoring systems for an industrial plant. The automation solution was developed using SIMATIC S5-155U PLCs and SINEC H1 communication networks, ensuring reliable process control, stable system performance, and efficient plant operations.
In addition, the project included the commissioning of automation functions at the New Salwa Road reservoir in Doha. The system was implemented using Siemens automation technologies and was designed to support fully automatic plant operation.
The automation scope covered automatic operation modes using PLC-based control systems, along with the integration of variable speed drives and fixed speed drive systems. This approach enabled precise process control, improved energy efficiency, and reliable operation of the reservoir infrastructure.
